We’re here to answer a few of the most frequently asked questions about CBD products and their effects/uses!
6 FAQs About CBD
Is there any ingredient in CBD products that irritates skin?
Unless you are allergic to any of the essential oils often combined with CBD (particularly in CBD bath products), no. Products made with organic CBD are usually all-natural, meaning that they have no naturally harsh chemicals or textures to irritate skin. However, if you ARE allergic to any oils, be sure to read the labels and ingredients lists thoroughly BEFORE purchasing or ordering ANY CBD product.
Can I order CBD products online?
Yes! You can order anything from CBD oil products that you ingest to amazing bath bombs made with CBD online!
Does CBD become THC once it’s ingested?
No. The two compounds, although similar, and both are cannabinoids, are not the same. Hemp-extracted CBD, for example, will not product the same high that THC does, in any form or at any stage, because it does not come from marijuana. Therefore, it cannot convert itself into THC and/or make you high.
Can CBD products really help me feel better?
Yes! CBD is quite often used for MANY ailments and disorders, such as insomnia, nausea, joint inflammation, anxiety and depression, and even certain kinds of cancers! (NOTE: the health improvement qualities do NOT make CBD a miracle cure, but it definitely alleviates many symptoms of MANY issues and illnesses, and serves to help treat many of them).
Does CBD give you “glowing” skin?
Yes! It works together with essential oils (such as eucalyptus, peppermint and lemongrass), as well as with good old-fashioned Epsom Salt, to soften skin, and to repair damage, giving you an almost instant radiant glow! CBD bath bombs are a great example of this!
If CBD is “non-psychoactive,” how can it help with my anxiety?
There is a difference between “psychoactive” and a “high,” like THC produces. CBD cannot get you high; however, that does NOT mean that it is NOT psychoactive. This word, at its most basic, means something that alters (or helps alter) your state of mind.
CBD products DO work as mild antidepressants/antianxiety remedies, but because they of are a different compound than THC, they achieve this effect WITHOUT making you high. Therefore, they ARE psychoactive, but not in the way most people think!
